Mojo Monday #482 plus others

Good Morning!

I played along with Mojo Monday yesterday.  The sketch is for a square card, which I rarely ever make, only because they cost more to mail and it would require a trip to the post office I don't want to make.  :)

I have also been working on 2 other cards lately.  Both were made with Paper Wishes paper.  The Welcome to the World stamp is a Verve Stamp...

For those that follow my blog, I still haven't finished the gate fold peekaboo card yet, hopefully this week. 

Paper Wishes cards

Good Morning!

I received an e-mail last week from Paper Wishes about some card packs they had on sale.  While looking at what they had, I found some good ideas.  Instead of buying them though, I went to search the internet for directions to make my own.  Since I got the idea from Paper Wishes, here's the link to what sparked my idea.  It took some trial and error, but here's what I came up with.  (I also found another idea, I hope to have finished by tomorrow!)

Several years ago I also bought "Cardmaker's Instant Card Art" from Hot Off The Press.  While cleaning my craft room last week I ran across them again and put them to use this weekend...

Normally I add a pocket inside, but because I used some Card Art from Hot Off The Press, I stayed with that theme for the inside also.

Like most of my cards, I put in a pocket on the inside so I can add whatever I want to later on.  Sorry it's such a bad picture!

Mojo Monday #480

Good Morning!

It's time for more Mojo Monday cards, using sketch #480.  This is an awesome sketch for using paper scraps! 

Which is why I have 3 cards for today.  :)  Ironically, the card I made 1st and wanted to make most, was the one I was least happy with....

I then used the piece I cut off from the square above and tried it again.  I was a bit happier with that one...

I had all the pieces cut out for each card before I started putting them together.  The last card I made was the one I thought before hand that I would like the least, turned out to be the one I liked the most...

I almost always make a pocket for the insides, so anything I add to it, can be typed up and slipped inside.

Mojo Monday #479 part 2

Good Morning!

I really loved Mojo Monday's sketch this week!  Before I did the first card (here), I just couldn't decide what paper I wanted to use.  I realized after I made the first one, that there was no reason I had to only make one.  :)  I always seem to run out of cards, so I made two more.  I used Graphic 45 paper, stickles, liquid pearls and glossy accents on the 3d flowers.

Good Afternoon!

I've spent a lot of time in my craft room lately.  It started off by cleaning things up, but then I found so many things I'd forgotten that I had, so I had to play too.  :)  But first, Mojo Monday had another fun sketch this week that fit in perfectly with some papers that I found.

The paper is Graphic 45 that I've had for at least 3 years.  Along with this card, I also made 3 others, also Graphic 45...

Good Morning,

It's been awhile, so I played along with Tuesday Morning Sketches this week.  When I seen the sketch, I knew what patterned paper I wanted to use, a small scrap of pink butterfly paper that I've had for several years.

While I was able to find all the matching paper I needed, the card in my head just didn't work out, so I came up with these three instead.
