I made some time this week to play along with Mojo Monday!  They have an awesome sketch this week that was a lot of fun to play along with. 

I was also able to use up some more scrap papers.   I bought these papers a long time ago and they were some of my favorites.

Card and bath salts

Good Morning!

I can't believe it's been almost a month since I've posted anything!  I've been in my craft room, but now that summer is finally here, just not as much.  I've also been doing some other DIY projects, which I've been have fun with!

I made the following card with an image I cut from an old magazine and my spellbinder dies.  Yes, I'm still in my recycling and re-purposing mood.

One of my DIY projects was making my own bath salts.  There are tons of excellent web sites for making these.  If I knew how to link my pinterest page here, I have a ton pinned there.  lol

This one is Calming Lavender bath salts.  Bobbi Jo, over at SweetSassyDiva is selling Young Living essential oils.  I ordered Lavender and Lemon essential oil from her and she sent me a sample of Peace and Calming.

The recipe I used for these bath salts is:
4 drops Lavender essential oils
4 drops Peace and Calming
1 cup Epsom Salts
1 cup Baking Soda
I tsp lavender buds

If anyone else is interested, I can repost some of the other things I've been making.  I'm now making my own face wash, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, sugar scrubs and salt scrubs and body lotions.
