For the hop today, my project is a very simple one today, using only the paper trimmings cartridge.

I used a regular 12 x 12 sheet of blue paper and added an offset sheet of 11 x 11 paper from K&Company's Abrianna paper stack.

I added a corner border next, starting out with the "flwer5" corner piece cut @ 2. I then cut two borders @ 1 of "flwer5". I trimmed them down to add on to the corner piece and added stickles to the flower centers using blue and purple.

I cut another corner piece of "flwer5" at 4 in white and the background piece in purple, adding to the center with a violet Viva Decor pearl pen.

Next I cut the square "flwer5" regular cut and the shift cut in light and dark purple. I cut a pink border by hand to fit inside the frame and added some gems to that. All that was left was to add the picture of my daughter and nephew!

Baby Brag Book

While I can tell you some of how I made this book, I can not tell you the sizes I used and how I did the binding. Check out this post HERE for the 1st book like this that I did and where I bought the pattern from. If you check out Laura’s blog, you’ll notice that I did this book differently. I didn’t want pockets, I wanted to show off my photos!

I started out with 5 pages,

and 8 flaps

I cut two pieces of chip board for the cover.

I attached 2 flaps to either side of 3 pages.

On the front and back page, I attached only 1 flap.

Once all my pages were glued together, I attached the covers. I prefer to attach the covers before adding my paper so I would have a bigger base for pictures if I needed it. (I hadn’t picked out what pictures I wanted to use at this point)

I glued all my pages together in book form, attaching the covers. (It's not fair to Laura to show you how I did this, sorry!!) I finished covering the rest of the pages, and then I added what pictures I wanted, leaving room for some future pictures.

A few pages left were left blank so I can add as we grow. :)

To the spine I added a paper clip with ribbons

To the front, I used my hot glue gun to attach the flowers. I added a border and another piece of patterned paper the I used MS punches on.

The back cover I just added a border to it

89th Birthday LO

Good Morning!

Today's LO is using only what I already have. I have SO many stickers from before I my husband bought me a Cricut. I really need the space, so my goal is to use up what I already have. Except for the page base, everything I used was from my scrap drawers.

High above the clouds LO

Just a simple LO today. On a recent trip to Texas, I was looking out the airplane window down on the clouds and this LO popped into my head. I got my camera out and snapped a few shots and spent the rest of the trip home finishing the LO in my head. I hate when it looks better in my head than on paper. LOL I do love the pictures though.

The letters are from Hello Kitty Font, cut @ 1.5.

The clouds are from Hello Kitty Greetings, Stand and Salute, Indie Art and Paper Dolls for Everyday, cut between 2 and 3.5. I ran most of the clouds through my Big Kick using the swirls cuttlebug folder. Once I embossed them, I lightly sanded to bring out the blue. I also used pop dots on some of the smaller clouds.

The airplane was cut from Paper Dolls for Everyday @ 3.75. I used my white gel pen and added yellow stickles to the windows.

Accident Scene LO

Good Morning!
This week at SweetSassyDiva's the challenge is to do a scene LO. When I started this project, the LO I did is not what I had in mind. lol It just kind of worked out that way. My youngest son will probably not be real happy with me over posting this, poor kid.

To make a long story short (er), he was having a ton of problems with his car. We decided it was best to get rid of his old car and buy something with less problems. He certainly needs a reliable car with the baby on the way. So my son and husband went car shopping and he came home with a "Competition Orange" Ford Focus SVT. He was happy and it was reliable, so I was happy. Three weeks into owning this car, he was coming home one night about 8:30 after class and hit a deer. Didn't seem to be a lot of damage, so he continues on his way home. 15 minutes later, about 10 miles from home, he hits a huge Raccoon! In the space of 20 minutes two animals totaled his car! It wasn't actually a tow truck who hauled his car away, it was a flatbed, but the meaning is the same. Ok, so on with my LO.

I used Everyday paper dolls for the roads. I cut them out at 5 and instead of using yellow paper for the stripes in the road, I used yellow stickles. The paper is from an old DCWV paper pack.

I used Nates ABC's for the car and cut that at 5. I used Gypsy Wanderings for deer and cut that at 5 also.

The tow truck, from Nates ABC's was cut at 3.

The Raccoon came from Animal Kingdom and was cut at 5.

Sketchy Card

Good Morning!

This week at SweetSassyDiva's the DT is following a sketch.

I did two cards, but only because I really didn't like the first one. The drawback for me when that happens is that I don't take pictures during the process of making a new one. The first card, the ugly one lol, I used pinks and purples and weaved the ribbon through the border. The border (on both cards) was cut at 1.5 x 4.25 from MS Elegant. After weaving the ribbon through it, I ran it through my Xyron to hold everything in place.

I cut two pieces of paper at 4.25 x 1.75 and 4.25 x .75. I used some cuttle bug border embossing folders on both pieces. I also cut two smaller pieces at 1.75 x 1.75 and 1.75 X 2.75. The background piece was cut at 4.25 x 5.75. (The size is a bit odd because I have some envelopes that are smaller than normal.)
I cut a rose and it's layers from Walk in my Garden at 2.75 and added some stickles.
