Another simple LO

Good Morning!

Today I have just a simple Lo. I didn't use my cricut, just my MS around the page punch set.

My picture was 5x5. I cut the yellow border at 5.75, the purple at 6.5 and the green at 7.25. I cut 4 strips of green and punched them all and then trimmed them down. The butterfly borders were from K&Company, along with the firefly, square butterfly and the word dream.

Celebrate! card sketch

I needed to make a Birthday card, but I wanted to follow a sketch again and see what I could come up with. I used the following sketch again,

I still have some odd sized envelopes left, so I made my card 4.75 x 7. I used scraps from K&Company Specialty Paper pack for the strips. Everything else, except for the card and bases, I pulled from my scrap drawer. The sundae is from Sweet Treats and was cut @ 3.5. Celebrate is from Elegant Cakes and was a left over from another project.

Kate's ABC's Cards

Good Morning!

It's been a stressful week, so I was looking at blogs trying to find an idea for something to make. I came across My Craft Spot, and found this card. I love Kate's ABC's (and Nate's ABC's), so I made up a few cards to take my mind off things.

I made 2 cards at 5 x 6.5 and 2 cards at 4.25 x 5.5. I cut my images at 4.75 and 4.0 respectively.

{This one is for my Grandson and says "free snuggles available at Grandma's house"

{This one says "You're Purr-fect". It's for my MIL, her health is failing fast and could use some cheering up.}
{This one is for my new nephew. His adoption will be final in 6 months!!}

Sunflower cards

Good Morning!

Despite my wanting to use up the supplies I have and not buy more... I couldn't resist this K&Company paper!! Ok, I had to have the borders and 3D stickers too.

I bought the paper because my MIL loves sunflowers. She has very little time left, so I try to send her a card a week. I'm hoping these sunflowers and glitter cheer her up some. Not sure which one I'll send first. I used my spellbinders for the shapes and was able to use only 1 sheet of the sunflower paper to make all 8 cards.

coffee coffee coffee LO

Good Morning!

I'm still working on getting my layouts caught up! This year for Christmas and my birthday my Mom & Sister went together and bought me a Keurig!!! I was so excited, I've been wanting one for awhile now.

I used a couple of different carts for this LO. From my Kitchen I cut the word coffee 3 times, cut @ 2 and welded it together. From Wall Decor and More, I cut the cup border @ 2 (with the blackout), and the cup @ 4 with blackout. From Sentimentals I cut the circle scallop @ 6. From Holiday Cakes, I cut out the blue diamonds @ 1.5 and I added a border @ 1 and a square from George and Basic shapes @ 10.5 x 10.10.

Big Bird Bus

Good Morning!

Another simple LO today.

I used Sesame Street Friends cartridge for the bus cut @ 4.5. I used my Gypsy to cut out a blackout image in orange, the stop sign in red and the holder and tires in black using the hide contour.

Big bird was something left over from a project last year.
The border was cut from paper trimmings @ 1.1.

I used green ribbon to weave in the border. I love how that turned out!

3 simple LO's

Good Morning!

Today I just have 3 very simple LO's. I used K&Company's specialty paper pack from Susan Winget. I love this paper!! It's double sided and has such great colors and patterns I didn't want to waste any of it, so I made sure I had a LO on each side.

Every year at Christmas we take a photo of all us "kids" and then one of all the "Grandchildren". Next year we'll start doing "great Grandchilden" since my Grandson was born 2 weeks ago!
(This picture was taken last night, Bentlee with his Daddy. He was just watching his Dad sing to him.)

By next Christmas we'll have 2 more new babies to add to the bunch.
