Good Morning!
Before I get into my project today, let me start by saying I am NOT a stamper! I try, but I just can't get the hang of it.
Splitcoaststampers has a tutorial up for what they are calling Triple Stamping. I've bought layered flowers before (more than I'm willing to admit to! LOL) and they were called Pyramids. Anyways, I wanted to try my hand at it and hoped that just maybe this time I could stamp something and have it turn out. Because of my "stamp issues", I only have one large stamp and it wasn't as big as SCS called for.
I used some scrap paper I had on my table from yesterday's mess and pink ink. After I stamped my image I layered each piece and put them together.
I seen the potential and got started using good paper. I started out with 3 pieces of white paper, 4, 3 and 2 inches and red ink. I also cut 3 pieces of pink patterned paper cut at 2 1/8, 3 1/8 and 4 1/8.
I like the twisted look, so I used some stenciling tape and put my papers the way I wanted them and stamped my image in red.
Since it looked rather plain, I grabbed my perfect pearls, brushes, water and heat gun. I just added the ivory color to the roses.
I'll remind you here of my first comment... I am NOT a stamper! lol I did use the image above and made it into a card.
Since I wasn't that happy with my image and I thought I can't be the only one who can't stamp, I set out to try using some patterned paper and doing the same thing. I had more luck with that! I cut 3 of the same images at 4 x 4. One the of pieces I cut 1/4 of each side and on the other piece I cut 1/2 of each side and put them together using foam strips to pop them up.
You'll notice I didn't layer these like I did the stamped image since the stamping leaves a small void.
I also tried the same thing using spellbinder dies. I only cut out two circle since I wanted to put them on top of the matching image and made the following card.
For me, I prefer the square image. Stamping would be so much easier since I don't often have 3 sheets of the same paper, but we seen how that turns out! :)
Have a great day!

These are great. I saw the name of the splitcoaststamper tutorial but I didn't look at it. Now, I will. These came out really nice.
