The papers were from Heartfelt Creations, the Lush Lilac collection.  I LOVE the papers in this pack, so much so that I bought two.  lol

My 1st "clean" card

Good Morning,

I followed a sketch at Freshly Made Sketches, but I missed the deadline.  I was looking for new sketch sites and found this one on Friday, so I didn't expect to make the deadline.  I did want to follow it anyways because "clean" cards aren't my norm and I wanted to challenge myself to something new.

Good Morning!

Nothing better than starting out your day with sunshine, warm weather and finishing up a cheerful card!  Tuesday Morning Sketches put up sketch #453 this week and I had to play along with this fun sketch.

My take on it...

I was asked about the paper I used in this card, so here are the details!  The paper is Heartfelt Creations, Butterfly Dreams.  The die is a spellbinders die.  It's an older one and right now I can't think of the name.  The flowers on top are actually a border strip I bought a while back at Hobby Lobby.  I've been waiting for the right project to use it on.  The stamp is from the Verve Stamps, the Let It Be stamp set.  I hope that answers all your questions!  :)

This paper was from Heartfelt Creations Lush Lilac paper collection.  The doily was from the Butterfly Kisses Decorative die set, and the stamp was from the Butterfly Kisses Cling Stamp set.

VLV May Challenge

Hello again!

It's been so nice to be able to play along with sketches today!  This afternoon I played along with Viva la Verve Sketches. 

The sketch...

My take on it...

The background paper was from DCWV, but I don't recall the paper collection.  The floral circle was from the Backyard Blossoms, Heartfelt Creations.  The stamp I used was from Verve Stamps, the Let It Be set.

I've also started on another card with this sketch, so I'll be back tomorrow with that!

Good Morning!

It's been a long time since I've had time to play along with any sketches!  I'm glad to have the time to play along with Tuesday Morning Sketches, #452 this week.

My take on it...

I went to Scrapbook Expo last week and, among other things, I spent a long time trying to decide what to buy at the Heartfelt Creations booth.  Of course, I had to use what I just bought.  :)  The paper is from the newest collection, Backyard Blossoms.  The square and butterfly were cut from the Butterfly Kisses Decorative Die set and stamped with the matching stamp set, Butterfly Kisses Cling Stamp Set.
