Blast Off!

Good Morning!

 Stuck On U Sketches put up another sketch on Friday.

My take on their sketch...

On my layout is the following journaling...

"Bentlee’s favorite thing to do with his Dad is playing “Blast Off!”  Zach starts out with B on his lap facing away from him.  Zach says “3" and B looks over his shoulder, he says “2" and B stares straight ahead once Z says “1" B starts to grin.  By the time Z says “Blast off!!!” B is smiling ear to ear and starting to giggle before Z even moves.  It is SO adorable to watch.  At blast off, Z starts lightly shaking B and then shoves B straight up in the arm with his long arms.  No matter what is happening or who is around, B will instantly stop what he’s doing when Z says “3" because he knows what’s coming.  It’s been that way since B was 5 months old."

I wish I could post the video I took of this... it's so cute to see.  :)

Jenny Evans Sketch

I can't believe all the craft time I'm getting in this week!  Ok, it's probably because I haven't been doing the things I should... but it's sure been more fun! LOL

I love working with sketches lately, and my favorite ones are from Jenny Evans, My Little Scrap Corner.  On the top of her page she has several links, one of which are for her sketches.  Her sketches and layouts are awesome!!

Jumping!

Good Morning!

This week at SweetSassyDiva's our theme is a one worded title.  Almost everything I scrap lately is about my Grandson.  Next to my kids, he is the most adorable baby, but of course I'm a tad bit biased.  :)

For my layout today I have a sketch from Sketch Savvy, two cute pictures of my Grandson in his Jumper having a great time and some paper I've been saving, from DCWV, Nana's Kids.

When I use sketches I like to figure out my sizes of everything, after picking out my pictures of course. 

Then I like to figure out my back ground paper.   I love the bright colors in this paper pack! 

Next I figure out all the rest of the pieces and cut them all out.

I cut my title out using the Cricut cartridge Carousal at 1.5.  I laid them out on my Gypsy so I could cut both layers at the same time.

All that, all that's left is putting everything together and adding the finishing touches.  I used stickles on the circle and on the arrows and a white gel pen on the blue and red shapes.  I have a box of left over pieces from past projects and from there I found the circles and the squiggly arrows.  I believe they are from Accent Essentials, but don't quote me on that one!  :)
