Once Upon A Sketch layouts

Good Morning!
The April challenge has been up at Once Upon A Sketch for a few weeks now.  This is another one where I made two because I wasn't totally happy with the first one.  lol
The sketch...
My first layout...

(I did love this piece!  It's from The Dusty Attic, I won it on a blog hop a while back.  I colored it with orange and then red ink and added liquid pearls to the top.)




My 2nd attempted layout...

Detail photos... (I colored a doily and cut it down to fit in the corner.  I took the two left over pieces and added them above and below the dark blue paper.  I hate wasting them!  You'll notice two different spellbinder die sets, I just got them the other day, you'll be seeing a lot of them!)

    Really like what you did with the chippie on the first page, looks fantastic with the liquid pearls! and the dies on the second one look wonderful. I particularly like the coloured doily! Thank you so much for joining in with us at OUAS!
