Tri Shutter ~ Tie The Knot

I just received the Tie The Knot card from my Cricut Rewards points and had to make the corset! The first one I made was a tri shutter card. I started out with a black base (sorry, I didn't take a picture of that!) cut @ 12 X 5.5. I scored it at 2, 4, 8 and 10. I picked the paper from the DCWV LA CREME stack. The two end pieces were cut @ 4 X 5.5 each. I laid the piece over the base and on the back side traced where I needed to cut the center out. I did that for the front and the back and then glued them down.

The center piece was cut just under 2.5 X 8 and the top and bottom pieces were cut @ just under 4 X 1.5.

The corset was cut @ 4.75. I took the buttons (leftovers from the cut) from the sparkly black paper and pop dotted them on. I added gold ribbon and placed it so it would show when the card was closed.
