Leftover flowers and a Frame

I am doing a project for SweetSassyDiva, due this Sunday, April 24th. While working on that project, I had some leftover flowers. I also have my favorite picture of my In-Laws that my parents took 2 years ago when they went to Texas to see them.

I've never altered a frame before and I learned a few things doing this one. The most important being: if you going to put a frame anywhere but a wall, make sure your items don't go below the frame surface!! LOL Opps!!

The flowers are from Serenade, Sweet Treats and Pagoda, cut at 1 3/4. The leaves are from Picturesque, cut at 2. The butterfly is from Florals Embellished, cut at 2". Of course I used stickles, a white gel pen and my new favorite ~ a violet Viva Decor Pearl Pen, and Glossy Accents.

  1. That is really cute. And thanks for the advice. I probably would've done the same thing because it looks so natural to put the things you used below the frame surface. TFS.
